New ceramic prayer towers by Ed Byers & Holden McCurry (Asheville, NC) are at Heartwood Gallery. These sculptures house a piece of paper inside for you to write your prayers or thoughts on. Each tower is handcrafted using traditional ceramic tools & found objects, like bark, to create rich texture, & the elements of nature & architecture stir the imagination.
We have fabulous new earrings from South Carolina artist Patricia Stalb. These enameled copper pieces are made individually, so no two are exactly alike, & the artist incorporates beads from antique jewelry she finds.
