Lisa & Scott Cylinder - Chickenscratch Jewelry ~ Reading, PA
Lisa and Scott Cylinder began Chickenscratch Jewelry in 1988. The ideas for their jewelry are derived from nature, modern art, folklore, and pop culture, blending these influences into clever narratives and plays-on-words. They create each piece individually in their home studio using simple processes, some of which are unique to them. Their work is made using mostly base metals (which are silver soldered, cleverly cold joined, and often kinetic) along with a multitude of other materials and finishes. Chickenscratch Jewelry is truly mixed media and constructed to last a lifetime.
